Dayville Fire Company, established in 1937, serves the citizens of the Dayville section of the town of Killingly, Connecticut.
The Dayville Fire Company will strive for excellence in the performance of our duty and service to the community and the citizens. We are committed to finding better ways of protecting life and property of our citizens from loss, suffering and damage due to fire, medical, and environmental emergencies within the community through public education and incident response and devoted in working together for the betterment of our community.
The Dayville Fire Company is an all volunteer company consisting of 50 to 55 members. Training is scheduled every Thursday. We invite the public to stop by the station and meet the crew.
The Dayville Fire Co. leads the area in the use of modern technology. The Dayville Fire Co. was the first on the East Coast to obtain and use the Onsite ERT Accountability program. We are the first in New England to obtain and use the new battery operated Hurst tool cutters. In the past we were one of the first in the area to obtain and use Hurst's tools. We were one of the first also to obtain and use a Cascade system.
